Since 2004 I have been studying educational sciences at Kiel University in northern Germany, preparing myself to later work in the field of HIV/AIDS prevention, biographical work with children, and bereavement counseling.

One of the most important elements of my studies is a six-month internship which I did at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, until November 2008. I am about to write a diploma thesis based on my experiences during that time in the field of psychosocial care and support for AIDS orphans.
